President Bhandari’s Bangladesh visit schedule made public

The schedule of President Vidyadevi Bhandari’s two-day visit to Bangladesh has been made public.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made public the schedule of Bhandari’s departure from Dhaka on March 25 at the invitation of Bangladeshi President Mohammad Abdul Hamid.

According to the ministry, Bhandari will return home on March 25. The visiting team will include Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali, Foreign Secretary and representatives of the President’s Office.

President Bhandari is scheduled to attend the centenary celebrations of Bangladesh President Bangabandhu Sheikh Mazbur Rahman in Dhaka. On the occasion, Bhandari is scheduled to address on bilateral relations and friendship between Nepal and Bangladesh.

It is said that a courtesy meeting will be held between the Presidents of the two countries at Bangabhavan. The President is also scheduled to visit the Martyrs’ Memorial at Savar and the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmandi. The President’s visiting team also includes a cultural team which will give a cultural presentation at the centenary celebrations.

Bhandari is also scheduled to attend a dinner hosted by the Nepali Embassy in Dhaka.
